He's mostly friendly and fairly capable. But he knows he is smart and is a bit of a know-it-all. All that I can live with, but he will interject himself into every little thing. Outwardly, I am being polite and try to tell him I've got it. Inside I am screaming for him to fuck off. I don't want to start problems with guys on other crews. He doesn't work for our company. He is a grunt for the builder.
How do you handle guys like that?

Ignore, tell them off, avoid them. Or if it’s in a professional setting get a supervisor to tell them.

Are you being targeted or is he this way with everyone? You could tell him, it’s beginning to seem like he thinks you don’t know your job and it’s become irritating.
