Why do Americans use so much air conditioning everywhere? For example, even in hot climates buildings are kept cool to around 16 degrees Celsius, which is late fall to winter temperature for some climates. Isn’t that a waste of energy? Also, doesn’t it hinder natural human climate adaptation?
