How do you deal with someone with whom you’ve had a close intimate relationship lying to you? You want to believe their “truth” but you know your instincts or the facts you put together are right. Did you let them go when your heart still loves them?

  1. That depends on what they are lying to me about and why. The context matters a great deal, but lying to me is something likely in many situations to break trust and lead to me choosing to disengage from that person.
