What social deficit do I have?

Whenever I notice other people, they work so well together socially. Whenever people talk to me for too long I just get awkward and I have nothing left to say. I know usually people say that it’s because you aren’t talking to people with the same interests or whatever but how are you supposed to do that with people you’re around situationally like coworkers. I don’t think I’m awful at talking to people because ain’t can make friends and become friendly. But how come it never goes past that like it does with others. Why are other people so inclined to talking. It always baffles me how I am nothing like other people around me.
