I live in Canada, southern Ontario. Winters here are both cold and snowy. I really don't mind the cold, but the snow and ice is really annoying. Even in major urban centres it piles up, they have to plow it regularly, spread salt everywhere, the salt residue gets all over your shoes/boots, it's disgusting. It's nice for Christmas I guess but after that it just becomes a bitch to deal with.
I've been considering moving to the EU for other reasons, and I was curious how much snow your country gets in the winter? Especially in major cities.
