There’s this person I’m talking to and they’ve been swamped lately. Part of me wants to check on how they’re doing, but my brain tells me that it would be rude to do so. My semester ends in about two weeks so I could wait that long, however, I might feel guilty because I start to think that I’m not checking on them. Would messaging at the end of the week be a good idea or should I just wait until the end of the semester?

I don’t think it’s rude. Some people say they’re busy so people leave them be. Just accept that they might not get back to you.
