How do other women engage in modern hookup culture without getting emotionally attached to someone? Can I make it work for me?

Been on my mind. The men I've spoken to seem to have no issues hooking up without creating any kind of emotional bond with the other person. For me, I grow emotionally attached very easily and wouldn't just hook up with someone without that feeling being there. (I have before and it's just not for me). I try to say to myself I'll make it work for me, and try to look at men like a piece of meat so I can get some without being a crazy person and immediately attaching myself to them, but I can't get myself to. Am I doomed in the modern dating sphere? Are there still modest people who have emotional bonds, can wait, AND still can do stuff in bed? Can I make it work for me? Any tips appreciated.
