I met someone over OLD and we clicked – We were unable to meet sooner as he was house hunting and had business trips while I had a house move too. Pretty soon, he started to sext and moved into asking for pictures. Although, he was consistent in terms of checkins and texts outside of that as well. I tried to explain to him that I wanted us to meet and have chemistry before we could establish more. Unfortunately, it reached a bit of an impasse and I had to create harder boundaries and close things off. I told him we have to pace it till we are able to meet and his response to it was that I was taunting him in some way.
Although I feel I did the right thing, I am struggling a bit with understanding the needs of men here. Is sexting so important and am I missing something? And can any interest outside of it be even considered genuine?
