My girlfriend 18F deliberately left me at a party to let men look at her, I’m not sure what to do, 18M, what should I do?
I've never posted somthibg like this, I'm 18, same as my girlfriend. We have been dating about a year now And recently we went to a friends house party. Midway through the party she left, saying she was going for a walk. About an hour and a half later she returns to tell me how good it was (this is about 11 at night). I don't really mind what she does in our relationship and I usually try to tell her how I feel directly, so I don't mind that she ditched me at the party that night. It was what she told me when she got back, she said, word for word, 'it was fun watching all the men look at me while I walked', proceeding to tell me about how there was one old man she deliberately let look her up and down. On the night she was wearing a very small dress I helped her sew up, so I was sad when she told me this.
I feel hurt that she did this and find myself wondering what she would do if the roles were reversed, as she is not comfortable with me having female friends of following any on social media like instagram or TikTok, even very close ones.
Over the last year she has not treated me very well, often prioritising herself no matter what and being very controlling. I try hard to be the opposite, I'm always with her, if she asks me not to go to a party, I won't.
The whole situation makes me question if I still want to be in the relationship anymore, and I'm not sure how I can say that.
Recently she has been talking a lot about her ex's, (somthibg she has talked about before) and telling me about some of her own traumatic experiences of controlling boyfriends, and how glad she is I'm not one.
I feel confused about to do, is that behaviour ok? I'm I the arsehole for thinking it's not?
