Female here!

I'm a 30/F recently single out of a LTR. Most of my hobbies are outdoorsy and I have no one to share them with without my former partner.

I hate online dating. I know for many people they find the love of their life, but I find myself overwhelmed with options, all my matches DMing me, it's too much. I've met all my BFs to date organically through life, and as a rom com enthusiast, it just seems more "romantic" than the blind dating that is online.

My problem is all my hobbies are solo. I just got a puppy, so that takes most of my time and he has to come with me when I go places. I love to camp, hike, and kayak mostly. By camp, I mean tent camping at different parks around my province (probably stay local while I'm solo though) I workout daily, but I'm in a small town and go super early so it's always the same people in the mornings. I do visit events, craft fairs etc., have taken classes.

Honestly, if you saw a pretty girl (not tooting my own horn, but I'm very athletic and relatively pretty) camping alone with her dog, would you think weird or would you talk to her? Same goes for hiking, hell, even alone on the beach with my dog? Do men even go up to random women in public anymore?? Any advice from men of the world would help a lot. I'm ready to date but like I said, online dating is just way to overstimulating
