So I'll (f) be 40 next year and I'm single. I've never been more happy , I think I would make a great partner to the right guy, and for now people consistently think I'm about 10 years younger than I am so I'm kinda spoiled, but I can't deny that slowly but surely my age is starting to show.
Now If I would have met a partner when I was younger and we would grow old together I don't think I would be so worried about my looks. But I can't help to be a little insecure to find a new partner who would have to be attracted to me right now, and not have the memory of a younger me, and many years spent together to "earn" those wrinkles.
I know personally what I find attractive in men has little to do with looks, and more with charisma and personality. And I know men aren't a hive mind. But I can't help but get a little insecure when I constantly see men being praised for being silver foxes and such, but women needing to either be young or look young and get a lot of work done in order to do so, and that's a route that I'm not wiling to take.
So (single) men over 30, what do you find attractive?
