Question of the day: why don’t men flirtatiously approach women anymore?

I’m a 23 year old female, pretty average looking and I take pride in how I dress which I think I dress reasonably for whatever the occasion. me and my friend (also more than average looking) have been out to different bars with different people each time in different areas. We are never approached at the bar or anywhere in public and quite frankly by any men. is this the new normal thing now? do men not flirt or make the move anymore?
