Not coming on here looking for advice, mostly just wanting to vent. Anyone else in agreement that family functions/gatherings are one of the worst experiences one can possibly go through? So much judgement and questioning in such a short period of time.
"Why aren't you married yet?"
"Why are you still single?"
"Why haven't you gotten a promotion?"
"How come you haven't finished your degree yet?"
Or my favorite is:
"How come we hardly ever see you?"
Geez I wonder why…
Like, how do you even respond to this type of stuff? I literally just sit there and suffer through it. These types of gatherings always feel more like a roast fest rather than a party.
