How do yall use boric acid after sex?

Do you use the suppository for a day, or do you use them for a few days after? It's the first time I'm using them, since my partner didn't pull out for the first time with me yesterday. (had a Bisalp recently, so no longer paranoid about pregnancy) but I got paranoid about developing BV or yeast infection or something bc I know semen can cause issues in some people lol.
