Anyone sick and tired of people using their phones?

I wish I could explain what I mean but I will give the best explanation. I am constantly tired of people not being able to hold conversations and use their phones mid convo, feels super disrespectful and I feel like people have lost their ability to communicate. I wish events, concerts, or places had a no phone policy where you would have to hand over your phone before you enter a certain venue in order to communicate with people. Phones have destroyed the way people used to communicate. Now instead of socializing with people next to you, people are more interested in staying glued on their cellphones doing random browsing with 0 end goal. Sure, I use my phone as well but I never pull it out in public with the intention that I get to meet people. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?
