In Poland it's customary to write:

Temat:
at the start of each lesson throughout elementary and high school, no matter the class (math, geography, Polish, etc.). It carries over to foreign language classes as well:

Topic:
I've just seen a poll on Twitter that when it comes to English class in Poland, it's a 50/50 split between "Topic: " and "Subject: ".
Do you write anything similar in the US?
