I just haven’t found anyone on the apps attractive for about 2-years. I don’t know what’s happening as I used to find them attractive, get butterflies all that, but now my emotion just seems dead towards dating. I’ve found one guy I’m somewhat interested in lately, but I’m still not feeling anything at all.
I’m looking for someone similar in that they have a decent career to support themselves or at least active plans towards that, but It seems the ones I come across are 99% working at convenience stores and stuff. A lot are travelling around the world or just in to visit. A good number are also “open relationships.” But the vast majority show some kind of red flags or signs they aren’t ready to settle down, which is pretty discouraging. I know jobs are hard to come by these days, but where did all the guys who were on the apps 2020-2022 go? It can’t be that all of them left.
I’m not really sure what to do. Dating apps seem like the only viable option to meet other professionals. I live in a smaller city and there aren’t that many social events around.
