There’s someone in one of my classes I want to get to know better, but I don’t know how. I recognize him from a different class where I had to work with him on a project. He was legitimately very chill and had a good sense of humor.
I’m trying to get over some social anxiety and connect with more people but it’s so intimidating sometimes. The guy in question has some friends in the class he’s usually with, and I wouldn’t want to be awkward by butting in somewhere I didn’t belong.
What are my options for breaking the ice or talking to him? I suck at social skills and I know I would just seem odd.
