I really like group conversation. They feel very loose and fun, but I can’t bring that loseness(is that a word?) to a one-on-one conversation. As soon as I run out of the basic questions(what are your interests, where do you come from, etc) it just gets quiet and I don’t know what to say.

Any tips?

  1. Depending on their replies you can always discuss further, esp if you both like video games lets say, you could talk about what ones you like and dont like for what reasons and who you watch on youtube/twitch. You could also talk about yourself, to not continously pry at someone else
