Hey y’all! I feel like people don’t like me because I’m too friendly, bubbly, and positive. I’m genuinely interested in getting to know people and always want to make everyone feel included. With my friendly personality, I would assume people would be drawn to that positivity and want to be my friend, but it seems to do the opposite. Any advice or insight?

Update: thank you everyone for the insight! I don’t ever want to be insufferable and oblivious to it. Major takeaways: 1) match people’s energy 2) being too nice can come off as fake and disingenuous 3) dim the energy a little bit so it’s not overwhelming, but not so much that I blow out my light. I will apply all of this and come back and report!
