I'm talking about sexual assault, or the like. Not just a beatdown. You see jokes in shows like male characters getting their ass slapped or kicked, objects shoved up their ass, their bare ass shown, their trousers being pulled down, punches in the dick, ass grabs etc. This is in entertainment aimed at adults and children by the way. And the frequency of this type of shit happening with female characters is strangely much less frequent.

Some examples in kids' shows/movies are In Avatar the Last Airbender, in the episode "The Storm", an old woman literally kicks Sokka (a 15 year old boy in the show) on the ass.

In The Amazing World of Gumball, there's literally an entire episode where a character (Tobias) slaps other male students on the ass as a "joke".

And in Looney Tunes Space Jam, a Monstar's bare ass is shown in one scene for "comedic effect". And Lola even says "Nice butt!" to him.

It happens quite a lot with DreamWorks movies, like the Shrek series. Shrek sometimes is shown to get hit in the balls or on the ass.

Or Kung Fu Panda with Po getting his on the ass by other characters or hit in the nuts.

In more adult-aimed ones, the main one that comes to mind is Deadpool (I watched the films recently for the first time). There are constant jokes with males getting their ass slapped, grabbed, dick punched, things put up their ass etc. The only time it's done with a female is during a sex scene and Wade checking out Vanessa's ass (if that even counts).

There's also an Indian film called 3 Idiots. It's a fantastic film, but it has this same issue. A scene takes place where a male student's balls are electrocuted, a bully makes the other male students show a bit of their asses or something like that (I've not seen the film in a while).

I know there are plenty of others.

I am able to take these sorts of "jokes". But it is a bit annoying that it isn't done evenly. Especially with attractive female characters, they tend to avoid these sorts of jokes with them altogether.

What are your thoughts as to why this is? Especially compared to when this happens with female characters. It's almost non-existent.
