He (22M) and I (25F) have known each other for 2 years through an English learning app. We haven't met yet. He kinda likes me at the beginning then loves me. I thought was just a teenage love and he would get bored in the future, so I didn't take everything seriously and keep being friends with him.
Now it's almost 2 years and we kinda like each other. He always gives me so much attention, love, care, support and respect. The only problem is he only says that he loves me without asking me officially to be his girlfriend, so we don't have any title except "friends". The only reason I can think of is because of his religion while I'm not religious. It's hard for us to have a happy ending but I still wanna be true to myself and my feelings even if I would be refused. I don't want to regret anything.
So I should confess to him officially when we meet in person, wait for him to ask me or detach myself from this situationship right away without meeting him?
