I'm referring to those who were in a place for so long where you felt stuck, unmotivated, miserable and so on but just kept going on as you were. Maybe just working some job you hate, always broke, smoking weed all the time, playing video games, etc. For the record, I don't think there's anything wrong with weed or video games or whatever you're into of that sort, if you're able to take care of your responsibilities and self otherwise. What was your breaking point or epiphany or whatever? Breakup? Job loss? Home loss? Something internal? I see a lot of people who become motivated to better themselves after breakups especially.
