Hi, I (20M) don't have much experience in romantic relationship and would like an advice on this topic. So I just got into the third semester in college and we're required to have a long term group for 2 semesters, I got separated from my friend group due to differing specialization. Long story short, a friend of mine refered me to his connection's group and I got a spot there. They're an already established friend group from semester 1. There's this one girl (19F) who I think's attractive thar always seem excited about me and giving me compliments, I just took it as a friendly gesture since she does it to all her friends. But then she started getting touchy, not THAT touchy, just subtle touches and putting hand on the back kind of touchy. I still think that's a friendly gesture since she does it to her close male friends too. Then we as a group went to a clothing store, I wore a jacket and she said I look handsome in it, I froze a bit then laughed. Ever since that, I'm questioning wether she actually have romantic interest in me or was it just a friendly gesture. I can't really tell since well, I never engage in romantic relationship before. I asked my friend who's experienced in dating and he told me that those type of girl (touchy & very friendly ones) are quite complicated, which discouraged me a bit to start a talking phase with her.
TLDR; I (M20) catched a feeling with this girl (F19) that is touchy with me (not sexual) and giving me compliments that I looked handsome when we're at a clothing store, but I'm confused on wether she's just being friendly or she have romantic interest in me. She's also touchy with her close male friends. I need advice on should I try to approach her romantically?
