I (26F) live in an apartment block. There's a lady who has an apartment in the same complex, and she has the sweetest looking cat who often sits by the window watching the world go by.
I LOVE cats but can't yet afford to look after one of my own full-time.
Would it be weird if I asked the cat-owner if I can meet her cat? – I'm thinking if I did say anything, I'd suggest meeting the cat in the communal area (rather than asking to come into her home), as well as for general safety reasons.
I'm worried that I could look very weird, and don't want to come across as the local creep. Also – this is a purely platonic desire, I have a lovely partner so this isn't some longwinded way to ask this lady out.
