Like if you're at a party, are people more likely to be friendly, converse with you and acknowledge your presence if they see if you have a lot of friends? Like if they see a lot of people talking to you and that you know a lot of people
Versus if you were there alone and didnt really know anyone, would they be more likely to snub you and exclude you when you try to talk to them?
I was wondering if this kind of social proof is a real thing or is it all in my head
