My best friend’s nephew passed away and I wish I had better intuition on what to do in times like these. I see others reach out, comfort, send messages, flowers, offer to take a trip to visit, ect. Some things I know to do like call them, but I don’t always know what to say without sounding fake and generic. And I see all the nice things other people think to do and think “gee I wish I thought of that.”

  1. In tough times, just being there can serve as the biggest statement of support. Maybe helping them do what they typically love to do, and also make sure that they take care of themselves while going through immense grief
