Over time I've ended up in a few medium term Reddit chats where I've given advice on relationships, money, planning, careers, and how guys think. In one situation I did some housing research. Over the last two weeks, two of these people have separately asked me to formalize our discussions. Basically following a schedule, etc.
I'm in my early '50s. I've had both successes and failures. I'm comfortable having conversations and sharing insights. It just seems odd to start accepting money. I do appreciate it. Not really sure if it's even appropriate.
