So, at the moment, I am in search for new apartment. it has been hard in here (Austria) to find a place!
I am writing everyone and getting only 1,2 replies. So yesterday one of the Landlord replied to me and we agreed to meet up.
It is a bit weird because instead of me going there, he is going to my neighborhood to meet in person. He is 32 y.o, sitting in wheelchair since he was born. I am female 27 y.o.
we talked on the phone for 20 minutes, about the technical stuff regarding the apartment. the he drives to meet me. we have a talk and it goes by well, in my opinion. nothing weird. he asked me if I want to have a stroll around the lake and I said yes.
There, about to finish a round walk, he said he needs to go to the TOILET! I thought he CAN go to the toilet on his own, but no, he needs an assitance. the public toilet was further away and he wants to pee in the bush! And I said : please let us finish the walk and you can use your own toilet at home.
I wave him goodbye. and I change my mind about the apartment.
so the question is : am I that asshole for saying no to DISABLE GUY who needs assitance to go to the toilet?
I dont see harm in him, since he cant walk, he cant move his hands. but the situation is sooo weird. and I feel pity for him that he ruins a possible good connection he might have with new person? am I thinking too far?
