I'm interested in American history, especially the pre-Revolution period, and I'd love to visit some of the US's historic sites (the old towns across the Northeast, the Spanish Missions along the Mexican border, Civil War forts and battlefields, the plantations of the South, etc). But, it seems like Americans never really promote their history abroad. Would you say this was fair? Do you think the country should advertise its history more?
