A friend and I were having a conversation about the success rate of people sliding into DMs. Success being the conversation is taken offline and continued IRL. We figured women may have a higher success rate (in a cis straight situation) considering they may be contacted more often. But that may not be true across the board.
I'm curious — How often have women slid into your DMs? If someone was interested in chatting with you one-on-one, how would you prefer to be contacted? And would you prefer to contact them or be the contactee?
