My mother is going to chaperone me and my girlfriend’s date. What do I do??

So me (17F) and my girlfriend (16F) are gonna go out pandal hopping in Kolkata. Durga Puja is coming up and basically we're gonna walk amidst the streets and view all the different idols. My dad howeve thinks it isn't safe and think I would be going out with a guy instead of a girl, and think that I can't handle myself in terms of safety and so my dad insists that my mother join me and her. Now she doesn't know me and my "bestfriend" are dating, and I just want to spend one day with my girlfriend without prying eyes. We're gonna be walking around, amidst crowds, and maybe going to a restaurant all 3 of us for a meal. Any tips on how to share pda infront of a homophobic yet clueless mother?
