In CA people would typically place UCLA slightly under if not equal to Berkeley in rankings—with Stanford being the most prestigious. But is its reputation mostly confined in CA as a state school?

Most ppl in CA see it as a “work hard-play hard“ school given its location in LA. While I know some Out of State students that says it‘s mostly just known for “sports” or “Hollywood”
