I had twins a year ago. Before them, my husband (33) and I (31) struggled with secondary infertility. Anyone who is TTC and deals with infertility knows how much and how often you have to have sex during the right window of time before you finally conceive. My point is — he has cum inside of me more times than I can probably count in the last two years alone. We’ve been married 10 years so that’s a lot of cum. Anyway, we started using condoms after I gave birth because there’s no way we could risk pregnancy after twins. One twin is medically complex. It’s too much to risk having another so close together. The one time we had sex without a condom (things got heated really quickly and we just couldn’t stop to grab a condom), I had a reaction almost immediately. I developed a painful cyst at the vaginal opening the day after sex. I chalked it up to a one time thing. I have to stress how clean we both are and like things to be. We are shower before and after sex type of people. We enjoy sex so much more knowing we can explore each other without fear of excess bacteria from the day. I know the cyst wasn’t because of bad hygiene. Anyway, we’ve had sex a few more times without a condom and the same happened again the day after. It’s been so frustrating and I’m really confused why this is happening. It’s obviously embarrassing to bring to my OB but my husband and I think I’ve just become very sensitive postpartum, especially since we used condoms for at least 4 months straight before my vagina encountered any sperm again. Now I feel like we need to either stop using condoms altogether to “desensitize” my vagina from reacting to his sperm, or we have to use condoms indefinitely. But that’s not practical because we’re definitely not done having kids. Sooner or later, I’ll be doing infertility treatments again and needing him to cum inside of me multiple times a month. Anyone experience this before? Vaginal cysts (external only) without any itching or rash caused by sperm?

Yes, I will obviously be going to my doctor about this considering our history of needing help to conceive. There’s no hiding anything from our team lol.
