1. Maybe The Police? I remember those were the first cassettes I bought with my own money.

2. New Kids on the Block, specifically Joey McIntyre. Christ, I had the biggest crush on him when I was a kid. I still have all their albums on cassette… I feel so bloody old.

4. The first tapes I bought were Janet Jackson and Ashley McIssac. I suspect they were just popular as I don’t remember really getting into their music much but then…. Spice Girls came on to the scene and I loved every minute of it!

    They reunited recently but their newest album wasn’t very good. To be fair my musical tastes have also changed significantly. Still love Dulcinea though
