My mom [50] has a love for cats which is cute and I [25] too grew to love cats, but she keeps bringing cats to the house and now we spend more money on them than on ourselves , and the house is a mess, can’t even bring people here. There’s pee and poop and vomit everywhere.
She either buys the cats or saves strays, and each year we tell her enough but she keeps bringing more. If we try to reason with her or complain ( dad my sister and I ) she shuts down and gets angry.
I want to take some of the cats and put them in the street but I feel guilty…
What is the solution here?
Td;lr: mom keeps bringing cats home and our family is resenting her for it.
EDIT: we have no shelters in our country.
