I’d feel pretty confused and maybe a bit hurt love should come with knowing and understanding each other, right?
If they love me but don’t know me, it’s not love, just infatuation. I’d feel a bit insulted, honestly.
I’d feel like they’re in love with an idea of me, not the real me. Feels shallow and pointless.
Why would I be romantically involved with someone who doesn’t know anything about me? That isn’t a situation I would be interested in anyway.
If they don’t know *me*, then they don’t love *me* as a person. Maybe they have generic love for all humanity or whatever, but they can’t truly love me as an individual because they don’t know me. They might be in love with the image they created in their head, but that is their imaginary partner and not actually me.
