Does anyone else feel like they got married because they didn’t have anywhere else to go?

I've been married just over a year, but we've been together for seven. We've fought a lot the whole time. I don't have much of a support system since my grandparents died. A few months before my wedding I admitted to myself that if I had anyone to go home to I would leave him. So now I'm just tolerating my marriage and my life because I don't have anyone else I'm close to and no where to go.
