31 F – I still have all the digital photos and videos of the life I had with my ex-husband – 35 M. We were married for 5 years and we got divorced last Oct 2023. We didn't have any kids together.
I tried to go through the files one-by-one since I'm out of cloud and local storage but I could not even get past the first few photos much less the videos.
I was originally planning to sort and organize all of them and then send my ex an external hard drive with his copy of all the photos and videos.
His family and his nieces grew up with us and I was mostly the one who captured all these memories on my phone.
What did you do with your old photos and videos when you got divorced?
A friend suggested I delete them but I don't think I can do that ever.
