OK so, a couple of days ago, I 23M managed to start a conversation with one female classmate of mine. She approached me first btw. We started nerding out and info-dumping on each other.
Basically I am a big STEM guy. My hobbies are related to those things as well. Also I have ADHD that I got diagnosed with a year ago. In general I struggle to fully connect with people, even my closest friends. In the past I was (and still am to an extend) one of those "gifted children who have not reached their potential yet" or something.
This is extremely important because: This classmate of mine is basically like me. She has a lot in common with me. In fact, she is the only person that I feel like we could relate to each other completely. She has interests related to mine and she too has ADHD. Also I believe she is a genius and she does not know it!
And as a bonus: She is pretty!
I managed to get a date with her! In fact, she kinda asked me out. I am very excited!
I am hoping that I won't mess things up.
I do not feel awkward around her at all. In fact I feel more confident when she is near me!
I am very very fucking eager to see where this will go.
