So I met said person through a mutual friend at a concert two months ago. Thought she was super sweet and pretty when we talked, but at the time I just got out of a relationship and she was in one. So I respectfully laid off, and just enjoyed my time with her.
Fast forward to a couple days ago, and I decide to dm her checking up on her out of curiosity (How’re you doing, it’s been a minute… yada yada). We never talked or were around each other since. She responds, and mentions that she broke up with her boyfriend. Didn’t seem too distraught about it though.
I offer my support, and say it’s good to hear she’s doing well other than the obvious. She responds mentioning if I ever wanna talk or hang out she’s there.
I don’t want to be disrespectful, and seem like I was waiting for this to happen. But I also do wanna ask her out. It also feels like I may be reading into this too much.
