it’s been half a year in a new school with new people and I’ve only made like 2 close friends, i would be perfectly fine with that but I have like 0 classes with them.
At the start of the year, I was really shy and socially awkward. Nobody really knew anyone in class so they would come up to me and try to get to know me but I was too awkward in conversation and I feel like they would be like “eh, not interested anymore.”and move on to someone else to make friends with.
I feel like I lost the chance to make new friends, i have nobody to talk to in most of my classes. Everyone has already formed their own groups of friends in every class. How can I make new friends in my classes?

You can always try asking the people around you for class related questions, and insert some sort of new topic to keep the convo going. Try not to be shy, although easier said than done but be more open to having at least small talk rather than getting shy and closing up. even little interactions each class with one person can build up and you can have them as a class buddy if not an actual friend. But at the end of the day, don’t fret since you still have those two friends so don’t feel completely alone.
