I have graduated from college and don’t have a single female friend who I can talk to openly. I don’t feel bad about it but I am concerned how it will affect me when I meet women and interact with them after I start my job.
It’s not like I avoided talking with them. Boys and girls barely talked to each other back in my school. The college I went to had a very bad sex ratio and I didn’t want to put extra effort just to socialize with girls and make friends with them. It’s not like I’m shy but I don’t see it as something necessary.

I also don’t have any close female friends. It’s about as important as you make it.
It’s a problem if you’ve never been able to be friendly with any women. Not a problem if you’ve never had one as a close confidant.
