What book are you obsessed with at this time?

1. I’m going through Samantha Irby’s essay collections. I just got everything on audio book. I love her stuff, she’s so raw and real.

2. It’s healing girl summer🫶🫶 So my current reads are “The Body Keep Scores” and “The Four Agreements.” For fun, I alternate between a romance book or psychological thriller. I recently read “The Silent Patient” and loved it!!

3. Sharks In The Time of Saviors, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and Convenience Store Woman. I really enjoyed Book Lovers, too.

5. I need strong female characters in dystopian worlds with bad attitudes.

   Red Queen series is great but ending was a but unsatisfying.

   Just started the Shatter Me series and am loving the writing style, not so much the fact ever character with a penis finds the protagonist absolutely gorgeous. A little gremlin like me can’t really relate to that, but I CAN relate to the overthinking, insecurity, and never-ending internal dialogue ranging from reasonable to complete insanity.

6. I’m currently reading “Song of the Sandman” by J.-F. Dubeau, I was hooked on its’ prequel “A God in the Shed” a few months ago and loved it to bits.

7. The lost world by Michael Crichton. Good shit

9. Lev Grossman’s “The Magicians”. The show started good and then went not so good, I hope the books aren’t like that.
