Everytime someone gaslights me hits me threatens me or calls me awful names I tend to forget these things after either going through the rest of the day workout normal routine stuff or bingeing stuff and while yes this could be considered a good thing cuz not dwelling on the people who hurt you the issue is that when it’s abusive family they just do it the next day the next day and the next and when you forget and forgive so quickly you are never prepared for when it actually happens help I’m tired of being hurt constantly because I’m never prepared for the abuse and yet I seem to subconsciously forgive so easily

  1. Have a ‘ f u respond’ ready when someone disrespects you or your family. Make sure to raise the voice for more effectiveness.
