how can I tell my mom I’m going out with a (M) friend?

I (F) am going on a trip next week and it’s the first time I travel alone. My mom is actually very panicky about this trip but she’s okay with letting me go on my own, I’m also meeting some internet friends and staying with them and their mom so it should be okay. I’m 21 years old but this is the first time I actually do something like this, and while I was talking about this one of my male friends asked to go eat somewhere while I’m on my trip, thing is I’m kind of scared of telling her cause I don’t want her to think I have a thing for this friend and viceversa.
I actually have a boyfriend and my friend has a gf as well, but he’s not in good terms with my other friends so that’s why he only asked me to go eat somewhere.
