Classic scenario, you’ve been on a date with a girl, she comes with you home for a “drink”, and if you are not already undressing each other at the front door, you kinda have to make that drink now. I know some might just crack open a beer or a bottle of wine, but I would like to know some “next level” stuff.

Personally, I hate beer, and besides some cheap wine for cooking, I don’t have any alcohol at home. Would definitely suck if I give a date some cheap stuff in that moment.

So, not only to make an impression, and also to explore some alcoholic beverages myself, I would like to know what you guys have in your repertoire if you offer a girl “that drink” and want to impress her.

  1. I’m a big fan of watermelon agua fresca in the summer. Fresh watermelon juice, simple syrup, lime juice, mint. Add ice, club soda, and a shot of vodka/rum and you have a refreshing summer drink that is hard to beat.

If I’m making myself a cocktail at home, I really love a simple dirty dry vodka martini with olives.

  2. Idc what they like i buy drinks in my house for myself.

I stick with mixed drinks. Personally i like to offer rum and coke because it’s my drink of choice. But i keep Vodka, tequila, Spritzers, and Juice on hand because it’s nice to switch up, and offer variety. Lol

  3. Stoli Blueberry with Sprite/7-Up and a splash of cranberry juice.

I call it a Siberian Husky because it’s red. It tastes like Jell-O. The ladies love it.

  4. Naked and famous. It’s delicious, easy to make, and not many people have tried it. Also it’s my favorite drink, so I make it any chance I get. If I think they wouldn’t like that I’d make a mojito, everyone loves a fresh mojito.

  5. I makes dozens of drinks. My specialty is what I call a Jimmy Appleseed. Jim Beam Apple, ground cinnamon, apple cider, and a cinnamon stick, cooled with whiskey stones, served cold. I have an evolving mix of apple and cinnamon whiskeys that I call Mojave Patrol, and its sister drink I call Nuclear Winter, which is equal parts JƤgermeister and Peppermint Schnapps. There’s the Good Morning Honey, Jim Beam Honey in Twinnings Irish Breakfast tea, and the unnamed one where I put orange, vanilla, or cherry Jim Beam in a flavor of Coke and drop in an orange creamsicle. There’s my bourbon root beer float, which is Jim Beam Vanilla in Barq’s with vanilla ice cream, then there’s my Fake Beer, which is pretty much any flavor of Jim Beam and Weinhard’s Cream Soda in a pint glass, which looks exactly like a beer, head and all.
