So we stayed at a place for the last week an airbnb house and regardless of the weather outside the home fet like it was perfect temperature throughout the day. And we were shocked because the heating was never on and we had the doors opens at times in the evening to let a cool breeze blow and it felt good! There wasnt any signs of under floor heating as the floors were not heating up.
I was wondering is this just really good insulation? Because we came back home to a fairly similar weather maybe even slight warmer but our home didnt feel as cosy and we had to hve the hearing on!

Was it a big old building? They can be poorly insulated but through sheer (thermal) mass, they wont change temp v.quickly.
It was a big house (6 bedrooms few toilets and big lounge and dining rooms etx) i dont think very old
