I give way when I leave an aisle, but I also give way if I go down an aisle. I do not give way when I’m on the main highway of the supermarket and I’m missing an aisle.
Just make eye contact and negotiate it between you. You’re not driving at speed with no body language.
Rather than the highway code, i think it makes more sense to apply the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Give way to trolleys due to them being constrained by beam and draft.
Engage ramming speed!
How fast do you push your trolley round for this to ever be an issue??
The one joining should give way as they are emerging unseen from a sideroad.
