Question for women – Best approach to ask you out when you met as part of a group

Title might be a bit vague so I will try to explain.

I met this girl through a group event. We chatted 1 on 1 briefly but mostly as part of smaller group with 4-5 other people. We chatted about a lot of normal stuff you’d chat about when first meeting someone – Being new to the city, work, hobbies, etc. During one of our 1 on 1s we exchanged numbers and talked about how we wanted to do some pottery painting or hit the arcade.

I guess my question is I’d like to get to know her more and chat with her. What do you think would be the best approach for getting to know her – or rather what would you like if you were in this situation. Maybe getting a group together for an activity or do you think I should just shoot the shot directly and see if she would be interested in doing something one on one.
